Policy makers, researchers and companies from the world of water management will discuss about wastewater legislation and technologies in a workshop organized by FP4BATIW project. The event will take place in Gammarth (Tunisia) on 29th of October 2015, and will be attended by over 100 policy-makers, representatives of water management, end-users, and international professional organizations from Tunisia and European countries.
The workshop is divided into two parts. In the first part, there will be different sessions focus on regulations and standards for wastewater treatment and reuse, and the best technologies for water treatment. Participants will jointly discuss what the best strategy is to increase environmental sustainability. Special emphasis will be given to water management in industry as well as in agriculture and the governance mechanisms for reuse water.
In the second part, it will be organized a brokerage event dedicated to establishing successful relationships between researchers and industrial companies in the MPC area. Leading companies in water management solutions and researchers from Tunisia will have the opportunity to meeting each other, discuss, share ideas and solutions, network and exploring opportunities for business, collaboration and partnership.
